Project and Resource Reporting

Innate software helps organizations to more effectively manage resources across projects and services. It provides capability to manage project plans, resources, time and expenses, and project costing. All of this data is held in Innate’s SQL Server or Oracle database.

Innate provides on demand reports that access this data and present it in a variety of formats, to suit each viewer’s requirements. Information can be presented as tables or charts, including histograms, line graphs and Gantt charts.

The layout is controlled by simple criteria screens and can be easily created from base report layouts using the Innate reports editor.

The scope of management information provided by Innate includes:

Reports for Resource Management

Innate reports show the following;

• Compare demand with the skills capacity, by layering new work on top of the current commitments. This highlights skill bottlenecks and any spare capacity
• A more detailed view that shows, by skill, team, role etc, the unallocated demand on top of teach person’s loading. Links that show the individual tasks assignments are provided

Reports for Project Management

Innate enables projects to be planned either directly with its web based spreadsheets, or using Microsoft project. A sophisticated two way interface helps to keep the Innate database in sync with MS Project plans. Standard reports show:

• Multi project reports that collate task and milestone information by program, client or any required classification
• Project baseline comparison reports to show the impact of scope change or compare current plan with a previous snapshot
• Milestone tracking, to highlight difference between committed and forecast key dates

Reports for Timesheets and Expenses

Time and expense data can be shown in a variety of ways. The example below compares the effort spent on proposals, projects and admin, week by week.  

Reports for Project Costing

These reports show cost information produced by applying appropriate rates to actual hours, for cost and billable sums, and to planned hours, to produce cost estimates and budgets. More sophisticated reports can track the cost performance as timesheets are processed.
